Curtis Johnson, the former Saints Wide Receiver coach from 2006 until 2011 is credited with helping develop the careers of players like Marques Colston, Lance Moore, Robert Meachem and Devery Henderson during some of the most explosive years in NFL offensive history.
Per Brad Briggs of the Chicago Tribune, Johnson is believed to be weighing other options inside the NFL. For Saints fans, the recent departure of John Morton from the Saints staff (holding the same position) created more problems for a team that was already rebuilding much of it's staff heading into 2017.
Morton, who left to become the offensive coordinator for the New York Jets, was with the Saints from 2015 to 2016.
