New Orleans Saints running back Alvin Kamara is a young star in the NFL. Few players have produced as well as he has in his first two seasons, and fewer have done it in so many ways. He’s just as effective a runner as he’s productive a receiver. His stock has soared in less than two years, putting his name in households and his face on Airheads candy wrappers across America.
But it wasn’t enough to get Kamara onto the 2019 Pro Bowl roster. Unfortunately for the Saints centerpiece, he plays in the conference as three great running backs in the NFL’s largest markets: New York Giants rookie Saquon Barkley, Los Angeles Rams MVP candidate Todd Gurley, and Dallas Cowboys cornerstone Ezekiel Elliott.
