METAIRIE, La. – The New Orleans Saints have won back-to-back games for the first time since last October, which puts them at 3-4 and gives them a fighting chance to salvage their season.
Here are the five main reasons they were able to do it:
Attitude: All year long we have heard the Saints insisting they have the right guys in the room, the right attitude, the right energy, the right work ethic, the right culture -- all the things that went south for them last season.
You never know how much of that is lip service, but it seemed genuine from everyone from the players to coach Sean Payton -- who is clearly energized by all of the young players he is working with on this overhauled roster.
