The good news is that, after missing the Week 7 game in Baltimore with a concussion, Saints guard Andrus Peat was back at practice on Wednesday, Oct. 24, and should be good to go for Sunday Night’s matchup with the Vikings. There’s a mix of other good and bad roster news behind that.
The first bit of bad news is that backup guard Josh LeRibeus is going on injured reserve. LeRibeus left the game against the Ravens early with an injury and was replaced by third-stringer Cameron Tom. The loss of LeRibeus for at least eight weeks is a big deal because he has done a pretty good job filling in at left guard when needed.
