Saints offensive lineman Andrus Peat seemed to finally find his footing in 2017, before a broken leg he suffered during New Orleans’ Wild Card playoff win over the Panthers ended his year a game early. After spending two months without putting any weight on the leg, Peat is itching to get back on the football field, and is hoping to be ready in time for training camp.
New Orleans rode a dominant rushing attack last season to an 11-5 finish and near NFC Championship game appearance. Peat’s emergence at the left guard spot helped solidify an offensive line that was in constant flux.
