This year’s Pro Bowl was every bit an exhibition game: just two all-star teams having fun and running around the field. It wasn’t very competitive – the AFC defeated the NFC, 26-7 – but New Orleans Saints superstar Alvin Kamara found a way to keep it interesting. Just, not in the way you’d expect.
Kamara plays running back for the Saints, but his biggest contributions come in the passing game. He sometimes returns kicks and fields punts. So you’d be excused from thinking you’ve seen it all from him. But he threw everyone a curve ball in the Pro Bowl by lining up at defensive end and taking off after Houston Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson, pressuring Watson into throwing an incomplete pass.
