Alvin Kamara leads Saints offense in touches during first half

The New Orleans Saints offense may be missing tailback Mark Ingram, but his partner-in-crime is still running strong.

Alvin Kamara caught all six of his targets for 53 yards, but gained just 9 yards on six attempts on the ground. His 64 total yards from scrimmage leads all players in the game. Kamara’s trademark shiftiness has been on full display, with as many as five different Cleveland Browns defenders having to team up and get him down in the open field.

It’s worth noting that this puts Kamara up to a dozen touches through the first half, which is about the average for him last season.
