Don’t look now, but Alvin Kamara is another strong year or two away from setting the New Orleans Saints’ all-time record for touchdowns scored as a runner, receiver, and returner. His six scores on Christmas Day helped his total climb up to 59, surpassing his former teammate Mark Ingram (55). Among non-quarterbacks, he’s already ranking second-best in franchise history, trailing only the legendary “Quiet Storm” himself Marques Colston (72).
It’s quite an achievement, and there might not be a limit for him. Kamara is only 25 years old and has a ton of tread left on the tires given his brief injury history and critical lack of opportunities in college at Alabama and Tennessee.
