Former LSU star Alan Faneca and former New Orleans Saints standouts John Carney and Darren Sharper are among 11 first-time nominees for the Pro Football Hall of Fame Class of 2016.
First-timers Brett Favre, Lawyer Milloy and Terrell Owens are also among the 108 nominees under consideration for induction to the Class of 2016.
Former Saints kicker Morten Andersen among a group of 10 finalists that weren't elected last year that also made the cut. The group includes coaches Don Coryell, Tony Dungy and Jimmy Johnson; running back Terrell Davis; linebacker/defensive end Kevin Greene; wide receiver Marvin Harrison; safety John Lynch; offensive tackle Orlando Pace; and quarterback Kurt Warner.
