We’re three weeks out from the opening rounds of the 2021 NFL draft, and a large number of Saints free agents remain unsigned. The cutoff date for compensatory picks qualifiers (Tuesday, April 27) is a factor, but so is the leaguewide salary cap crunch depressing salaries for middle-class players. Some of them are also recovering from injuries, which puts their NFL future in jeopardy.
