6 pass rushers the Saints could target in a trade

The NFL’s 2020 trade deadline is set for Nov. 3, giving the New Orleans Saints about a month to turn over every stone and look for ways to improve their roster. There may not be a clearer spot they can improve right now than defensive end, where 2018 first-round draft pick Marcus Davenport is still absent with elbow and toe injuries (having been downgraded from limited participation on Thursday’s injury report).

And New Orleans was desperate to add talent to the pass rush rotation over the summer. They were heavily involved in Jadeveon Clowney’s free agency, going so far as to attempt the NFL’s first sign-and-trade deal to make the finances work, but it was to no avail.
