The 1992 Season for the New Orleans Saints will be memorable for a number of things. It was the last full year of the Dome Patrol, Bobby Hebert, Craig “Ironhead” Heyward, before the introduction of the salary cap which caused it all to fall apart. The Saints went 12-4 that year. The four games they lost, they lost by a total of 13 points and they had the number one defense in the NFL.
Except for that one anomalous loss in LA when Drew Brees went down, this year is feeling a lot like that 1992 team. Check that.
