With the release of Larry Warford, the New Orleans Saints opened up roughly $8 million in cap space. There are a plethora of ways that the Saints could use it, but one thing is certain — they should use it.
Whether they decide to sign their rookies with it or if they decide that they want to look at maybe one or two more free agents still left on the board, the money should be used on someone. Either way, they should use it to help their team reach the Super Bowl.
In my opinion, we are getting down to the time where the players that are on the free-agent market are becoming worried about receiving a contract or at least one they’d consider.
