If you were expecting craziness in the opening round of the 2019 NFL Draft on Thursday night, you got a little of that. But the big name unexpected moves, like the Giants taking Duke quarterback Daniel Jones with the sixth pick, had already been discussed as potential scenarios not out of consideration. The Saints, of course, with no pick until number 62 in the second round tonight, were merely observers without the picks or trade value to get back into the first round.
Maybe the most unexpected shock of the night came from the Atlanta Falcons.
