New Orleans continued its minicamp schedule on Wednesday, as the second of three practices was open to the general public. It was a low-key affair, which focused more so on walk-throughs and special teams rather than simulated game action. These practice sessions aren’t very indicative of how the team will look once the regular season rolls around, but they’re all most fans and analysts have to go on to get through the summer.
Not in attendance during the mandatory minicamp were Cameron Jordan and Michael Thomas, who both missed their second consecutive practice. Jordan was away from the team to be with his newborn child, but nothing was revealed about the status of Thomas.
