METAIRIE, La. -- Andrus Peat said he hasn’t really lost that much weight this offseason. But the New Orleans Saints' second-year offensive lineman looks noticeably sleeker on the practice field.
And more importantly, Peat said he feels a lot better after focusing on his diet and conditioning.
“I really just focused on just changing my body composition. Just kind of leaning up a little bit. So I’m feeling good out at practice and everything ... more energy,” said the 6-foot-7, 316-pounder, who admittedly struggled with his conditioning last year as a rookie first-round draft choice out of Stanford.
