The New Orleans Saints have hired Arkansas running backs coach Joel Thomas away from the Razorbacks, per Thayer Evans of Sports Illustrated:

The running backs coach position is currently occupied by Dan Roushar. No corresponding shift in the coaching staff dynamic has been reported as of this writing, so it's unclear how the Roushar/Thomas dynamic will shake out. It's possible that Roushar could shift to the vacant tight ends coach position (he filled the same position at Michigan State), but that's just speculative at this point.
Thomas has coached running backs for the Arkansas Razorbacks since 2013. He signed a contract extension with the program in January through 2016 that also is said to have included a raise. Arkansas' rushing offense ranked 26th in the nation last season in total yards gained.
