The New Orleans Saints have agreed to a three-year, $18 million with CB Brandon Browner, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
Browner visited the Saints yesterday and was supposed to travel to Washington for a meeting with the Redskins, but New Orleans was determined not to let him leave without a deal.
Browner spent his first three seasons in the NFL with the Seattle Seahawks before joining the New England Patriots, who released him to save his $2 million roster bonus. He played four seasons in the Canadian Football League before joining Seattle.
He recorded 26 tackles with one interception and seven pass breakups with the Patriots last season.
