The 2011-2012 season has flown by, hasn’t it? It seems like it was just yesterday when rookie RB Mark Ingram was stopped short of the end zone at Lambeau Field in Week One, and now we’re already in the Divisional Round of the postseason. Since that opening week letdown, Chat Saints has come a long way. With roughly 35 articles now in the books, a tested podcast that is set to re-launch next season and plethora of new ideas that are currently in the works, there is plenty to look forward to here at the New Orleans Saints section of Chat Sports. This weekend, there will be another new option involved with Chat Saints in order to fill your “Who Dat Nation” needs.
As everyone should already know, the Black and Gold kick off in San Francisco at 4:30 ET on Saturday. During the game, I have been asked to do a special coverage of the contest for Sulia.com. So now you may be asking, “What is Sulia?”
Sulia is a venture capital-funded real-time media company where they “identify the ultimate list of authorities across the most important stories and topics to provide dynamic streams of content that make sense to normal folks and fanatics alike.” At Sulia, the majority of their NFL contributors are high-profile beat reporters; in recent weeks, Ralph Vacchiano, Manish Mehta, Mike Garafolo, Ian Rapoport, Dan Kaplan, Sean Jensen, Doug Farrar, Vic Lombardi and Omar Kelly have contributed to the site. Recently, I was invited to be a contributor for this weekend’s Divisional Playoff game against the 49ers as a representative of the New Orleans Saints and ChatSaints.com.
During the game, I will be providing real-time analysis, reactions and other information as the game progresses on (Think of it as a form of Twitter without the extremely limited word count.). On game day, I will most likely post anywhere from 25-40 updates during the matchup.
So how can you see what I post on Saturday? Simple.
In order to see everything posted by Chat Saints on Saturday afternoon, visit Sulia.com and go to the “Find Channels” bar at the top of the page. In the search, type “Saints vs. 49ers” and click on the page (http://www.sulia.com/channel/new-orleans-saints-vs-san-francisco-49ers/). At this page, you will find every update from both me and other 49ers/Saints contributors who were chosen for the event. Once you see a post from Chat Saints, be sure to click the “Listen” button next to the post in order to keep a close tab on every update that I provide.
On a side note, every post that I make on Sulia will be forwarded to the Chat Saints Twitter page. For this reason, be sure to follow me on Twitter (@ChatSaints).
Before I conclude, I must express my gratitude to the people at Sulia.com for extending me an invite for this Saturday. Be sure to tune in this weekend during the game; trust me, this will be one to remember.
