What are the chances that Alexis Ajinca will be on the opening day roster come October 20th against the Golden State Warriors?
Despite popular opinion, Alexis Ajinca is a valuable player that provides a nice scoring punch for the frontcourt. Last season, Ajinca averaged 5.3 PPG and 4.3 RPG while shooting an efficient 50% from the field.
Even though his playing time diminished because of the Demarcus Cousins trade, he still proved valuable in spot minutes down the stretch. His ability to stretch the floor from 10 to 20 feet allows Coach Gentry to have a guy on the floor that can pull the other team’s post player away from the paint when substitutions are made.
