Following a 115-99 defeat at the hands of the Orlando Magic on Monday evening, Pelicans head coach Alvin Gentry pointed out a lot of things went wrong in the matchup: offense, defense, and even the accustomed energy levels were amiss.
Listen to Trevor and I break down the game, highlighting not only the failures, but more importantly, why it’s far from the end of the world. Stuff needs fixing, but hey, in case you’ve forgotten, New Orleans is 3-4. Last season, the Pelicans started 0-7, and in 2015-16, 1-6.
It’s not as if the team has started behind some mammoth eight ball this season, right?
