Selden may have a chance Wednesday to add something even more memorable to his basketball resume, because after signing with New Orleans (25-39), Alvin Gentry said he may play the rookie immediately.
“There is a chance,” Gentry responded to a question about whether Selden will get on the floor for the Pelicans against Toronto, which would mark his official NBA debut. “We’ll have to see how the game goes.
