Ask any New Orleans Pelicans fan what they want from whoever ends up being the new head coach and many of the same ideas get listed. Someone to fix the defense, someone willing to be creative with the lineups, someone to keep Anthony Davis happy and typically someone to increase the pace that the Pelicans play at. But what if one of those things isn’t necessarily something that has to be done? What if the Pelicans may not need to start pushing the pace? As crazy as that sounds for a team with Anthony Davis on the roster it may in fact be the case.
