The 2019 NBA Draft was a busy one for New Orleans Pelicans fans. We all knew Zion was coming to town (with thunderous applause, of course). Jaxson Hayes and Nickeil Alexander-Walker brought some excitement of their own. Then, with three second round picks, it was interesting to see who would be potentially rounding out the roster for New Orleans. After some trading around, three second rounders turned to one in forward/guard Marcos Louzada Silva from Brazil coming to the Pels 35th overall.
Marcos “Didi” Louzada Silva is somewhat unknown to anyone unfamiliar with international basketball, but has shown enough potential for the New Orleans Pelicans for them to take a flier on the Brazilian Star.
