Pelicans (2-1), Bulls (2-2)
CHICAGO – New Orleans trailed by as many as 20 points against a hot-shooting Chicago club early, but completely reversed the momentum in the second half, winning late behind a strong performance by the team’s reserves. In a seesaw affair, the Pelicans turned a 20-point deficit into an 11-point lead midway through the fourth period, but the Bulls responded to make it tight again. New Orleans eventually pulled away in the final two minutes for a victory. Pelicans reserves accounted for all scoring during a 32-25 fourth period in the Windy City.
