Trail Blazers (36-34), Pelicans (25-43)
With Anthony Davis (left knee) forced to exit Friday’s game in the second quarter – he did not return – New Orleans fell behind by as many as 20 points to Portland, but roared back to take the lead. Ultimately however, after the Pelicans went in front several times late in a back-and-forth final period, the Trail Blazers made enough plays in the last minute to hold on for a key road victory. Dante Cunningham gave New Orleans a 109-108 edge with 1:13 to go, but C.J. McCollum nailed a momentous wing three-pointer to make it 111-109.
