MEMPHIS – A wild fourth quarter Wednesday included a multitude of ups and downs and was not for the faint of heart, but at game’s end, New Orleans had come away with an outstanding road victory, arguably its best of 2016-17. The Pelicans went up by 18 points in the second half over the Grizzlies, watched that advantage sliced to one in the fourth quarter, then hung on for dear life and emerged with a win in a place they hadn’t prevailed in three-plus years.
After going 6-18 on the road prior to this four-game Western Conference trip, New Orleans managed to post half as many away wins over just a six-day period, beating Minnesota, Phoenix and Memphis.
