The New Orleans Pelicans are in full evaluation mode. They have announced they are reducing the minutes of Anthony Davis and Jrue Holiday for the remainder of the season. AD will also not play in back-to-back nights due to workload management. This gives an opportunity for the younger players to see if they factor into the Pelicans long-term future.
A few of the young guys have really stood out. Take Cheick Diallo for instance. In the two games since the all-star break, Diallo has posted back-to-back double doubles and scored a combined 34 points and grabbed 28 rebounds.
