The New Orleans Pelicans may be getting close to hiring a new head coach, as rumors have surfaced that they are very interested in Jacque Vaughn.
I wrote about the qualities the Pelicans should look for in the next head coach, and Vaughn meets many of them, as he is a young coach with experience who has a reputation as a good communicator.
The Pelicans still have internal options to weigh and are also reportedly looking at assistant coach Charles Lee, who could be a great choice to pair with Zion Williamson for the long term.
