The New Orleans Pelicans announced this morning that they have waived swingman Reggie Williams. Williams appeared in just five games during his three week stay with the team. His best performance, a 17 point outburst against the Phoenix Suns, contributed greatly to the Pelicans pulling out a crucial victory on December 11th.
The current roster now stands at 14 players, with Quincy Pondexter the only player on the injury report. 10-day contracts become available on January 5th. Shams Charania is reporting that New Orleans has interest in former Rockets big man Donatas Motiejunas.
