For the first time in over a week, the Pelicans will return to the comfy confines of the Smoothie King Center. The last time a game was played on this floor, they created a number of happy memories.
Tonight, the stakes will be even bigger. New Orleans is down 0-2 to Golden State, but overall they played fairly well in Oakland. After a 106-99 loss in Game 1, where an Anthony Davis-inspired 4th quarter comeback fell just short, the Pelicans gave the Warriors everything they could handle in Game 2. With 4:03 remaining, Davis had missed a 15 footer to tie the score at 88 apiece before ultimately running out of gas.
