The New Orleans Pelicans had an interesting season in regards to personnel in 2018-2019. Dell Demps, the team’s GM since 2010, was relieved of duties amidst the Anthony Davis trade saga this February. His replacement—Danny Ferry—immediately took over the role and served as interim GM for the remainder of the campaign.
However, with Ferry’s primary focus being his family at this time, he stepped down in the last stages of the Pelicans’ search for a new, permanent GM. Now, with David Griffin recently being inserted into VP of Basketball Operations position in New Orleans, the hunt for the team’s next general manager to work alongside him has picked up.
