New Orleans’ injury report this morning now includes a whopping seven different names, which tends to be a problem when an NBA team’s roster only includes 15 players. However, the Pelicans are hopeful that they’ll at least have 10 players available for Monday’s 7 p.m. home game vs. Sacramento. In addition to five Pelicans who are listed as out for tonight, Norris Cole (lower back) and Luke Babbitt (left shin contusion) were added to the injury list and are listed as questionable, giving them roughly a 50-50 chance of playing.
If both are not able to play, New Orleans would be down to just eight players in uniform, including only two guards.
