Every day for three years, Jordan Crawford heard from people who said he should be back playing in the NBA – including Grandma.
“My grandmother thought I was being blackballed (from the NBA),” a smiling Crawford said after Friday’s Pelicans shootaround in Metairie. “It was crazy. I had to calm her down, while still on this journey, trying to fight (to get back in the league).
“For three years I heard probably 10 times a day how I was supposed to be in the NBA. Dealing with that is tough. But some things are out of your control.
