Bring the whole family to get up-close and personal with hands-on Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) activities, live performances, interactive demonstrations plus Pelicans and Saints fun!
STEM Fest with Core Element will be held on Saturday, September 30 from 10AM - 2PM at the Ochsner Sports Performance Center (5800 Airline Dr., Metairie, LA). Cost is $12 per person which includes access to the event plus a ticket to an upcoming Pelicans game during the 2017-18 season.
With the goal of igniting curiosity and interest of K-12 students in STEM, inspire educators with creative STEM learning, promote industry workforce development and increase awareness of STEM career pathways, this inaugural event will feature several hands-on exhibits from organizations such as Chevron, Audubon Nature Institute, Ochsner Health System and more.
