OAKLAND – It’s not a department any NBA team enjoys being a league leader within, but with 17 games remaining in the regular season, the New Orleans Pelicans have used more starting lineups than anyone. The tally of different starting units will increase to 33 tonight against Golden State (59-6), with New Orleans (24-41) moving Alonzo Gee into the mix, part of perhaps the Pelicans’ smallest lineup of 2015-16.
With Omer Asik shifting to a reserve role for the first time this season, Anthony Davis will start at center. Gee will be joined as a starting forward by Dante Cunningham; Jrue Holiday and Toney Douglas will be at guard.
