Solomon Hill was a first-round pick of the Indiana Pacers in 2013, but his progression and improvement as a player in the Hoosier State didn’t happen overnight. Based on circumstances partly related to a severe leg injury to fellow Pacers forward Paul George in a USA Basketball exhibition game, Hill’s role increased dramatically in 2014-15, his second pro season, but dipped in 2015-16 upon George’s return to health.
