For better or for worse the 2020-21 season has come to an end for the New Orleans Pelicans.
The Los Angeles Lakers defeated the Pelicans 110-98, handing New Orleans its fourth consecutive loss to close out the season. New Orleans trailed from start to finish.
Willy Hernangomez, one of the Pelicans bright spots down the stretch, finished with a team-high 19 points, to go along with 12 rebounds, earning his 11th double-double. He was one of six players to reach double figures for New Orleans.
Naji Marshall had a solid all-around game with 18 points, six rebounds, and seven assists, as well as the shot of the night.
