The Pelicans were in Milwaukee Sunday looking for their fifth straight win. Early on it looked like they were ready to head home and prepare for the Phoenix Suns Monday. But as they’ve done all season, they instead gave another reason to show why they are no longer the team to count out.
What we liked: The third quarter
The Pelicans found themselves once again in a tough situation. They persevered through it in 2017/18 Pelicans fashion. Led by Jrue Holiday’s 15 points, the Pelicans outscored the Bucks 38 to 19. This run was essential in the Pelicans being able to win down the stretch
What we didn’t like: The late game possessions
The Pelicans struggle sometimes closing games due to rough execution and bad decisions.
