NEW ORLEANS -- Pelicans forward Anthony Davis told reporters that he plans to play Monday night against the Boston Celtics after missing sitting Saturday with a hip strain.
"That's my plan," Davis told reporters after the team's shootaround Monday morning. "My plan is always to play. I have to get evaluated and see how it feels over this couple of hours before the game and go from there."
Davis, who is averaging 27 points, 12.6 rebounds and 2.7 blocks per game, sat out the in Washington with a right hip strain.
