NEW ORLEANS -- Anthony Davis will miss the second half of the New Orleans Pelicans' home game against the Oklahoma City Thunder on Wednesday night after reaggravating a right thigh bruise, the same injury that kept him out of Monday's win over the Cleveland Cavaliers.
The All-Star starter has now missed at least parts of seven of the Pelicans' past eight games because of injury, including two games in which he sat out entirely.
Davis grabbed at his right thigh and hobbled to the bench during a called timeout with 2:20 to play in the second quarter.
