Norris Cole has agreed to accept the qualifying offer from the New Orleans Pelicans, according to Brian Windhorst of ESPN.

According to Windhorst, Cole’s one year qualifying offer with the Pelicans is going to be worth around $3.03 million dollars for the 2015-16 season.

Norris Cole will earn $3.03 million from Pelicans and have a right to veto any trades. Will be an unrestricted free agent next summer

Cole was a restricted free agent this offseason after the Pelicans extended to him a one year qualifying offer at the beginning of the free agency period, which started on July 1.
