The Pelicans remained busy this offseason with 3 new free agent signings: Garlon Green, Kenrich Williams, and Troy Williams. Let’s took a quick look at each player and the potential impact they could have on the team.
Starting with Green a 27-year-old forward and the younger brother of Houston Rockets forward Gerald Green. A 4 year player out of TCU, Garlon has spent time overseas playing basketball professionally before joining the Pelicans Summer League. In his 5 appearances during summer league play, Garlon averaged 9.2 points a game. The 6’7 forward is on a partially guaranteed contract, but his versatility offensively and defensively may help him solidify a roster spot.
