The New Orleans Pelicans were unable to build on their two game streak on Monday by losing a heartbreaker to the grinding Memphis Grizzlies. Despite falling short, though, there were a number of positives for the Pelicans. Perhaps the most impressing of which is the fact the Pelicans were able to hang with the Grizzlies, a team widely believed to be a tier ahead of the Pelicans, at all.
Fortunately for the beleaguered Pelicans, they get to kick off their seven game homestead against a much less seasoned opponent. The Minnesota Timberwolves are one of the youngest teams in the NBA, and they are brimming with potential.
