The drama of the New Orleans Pelicans’ 2018-2019 season continues as the team decided to part ways with their General Manager, Dell Demps, yesterday. This comes in the wake of Demps being unable to secure a sufficient trade package in return for star player Anthony Davis before the NBA trade deadline, but this move was rumored to be in the works well before that happened anyway.
While the Pelicans already named Danny Ferry as the interim GM effective immediately, the brass in New Orleans will begin trying to figure out who to hire as the permanent replace for Dell Demps right away.
