Friday marks the beginning of this season’s Las Vegas Summer League, where a group of teams gather squads consisting of young prospects, recent draft picks and players trying to make the NBA for a 10 day session that ends with a tournament to crown a champion. Considering the New Orleans Pelicans have neither young prospects or recent draft picks, their squad is full of names that are mostly unfamiliar.
