Once the New Orleans Pelicans announced on Thursday morning that center Omer Asik was going to be out for three weeks, one of the first questions that seemed to pop up was if the Pelicans would look to bring in another big man to compete with Jeff Adrien and provide the team with some depth. On Friday afternoon that question was answered, as the Pelicans have reportedly agreed to a non-guaranteed deal with Greg Smith as first reported by Scott Kushner.
