The New Orleans Pelicans came to terms with veteran free agent guard Sindarius Thornwell today as a substitute player for their upcoming trip to Orlando, Florida. NBA teams are allowed to carry a maximum of 17 players on each roster.
Thornwell was selected with the 48th overall pick in the 2017 NBA Draft by the Milwaukee Bucks, but spent both of his first two seasons with the Los Angeles Clippers. He spent all four collegiate years at South Carolina, where he was named SEC Player of the Year after leading them to their first Final Four appearance in school history as a senior.
