Head coach Alvin Gentry knows it’s time for his team to roll up its sleeves with a sub-500 record and a fourth of the season in the books.
After a 124-107 loss to the Boston Celtics on Monday, the New Orleans Pelicans sit at 10-11 overall and are on a four-game losing streak. Boston shot 50 percent from the field and made 19 of its 39 threes, led by Kyrie Irving’s 26-point, 10-assist double-double.
“We know that we’re a good basketball team,” Gentry said. “No one wants to hear that.
