Without some help from the Lottery Gods, the New Orleans Pelicans will be choosing at the back-end of the lottery in the 2020 NBA Draft.
They are currently tied for 12th with the Sacramento Kings with a 5.7 percent chance of jumping into the top-four.
Lady Luck smiled at the New Orleans Pelicans last year, when they were able to buck the odds and land the number one pick, which turned into Zion Williamson.
Only the Cleveland Cavaliers seem to get lucky in the draft two years in a row, so for the sake of this argument, we are going to assume the New Orleans Pelicans don’t make a big leap.
